What is Red Light Therapy?

Red Light Therapy is a safe process that encourages your body to naturally produce enzymes, elastic fibers, and collagen. Infrared Light has been researched by trusted facilities and has been found to be effective in treating depression, repairing damaged skin, relieving pain, treating wounds, killing bacteria, aiding cancer recovery, and many more benefits!

How Does It Work?

Red light wavelengths are absorbed 10mm into the skin, these wavelengths heat and positively affect cells and processes within the body. Infared light breaks the bond between nitric oxide and cytochrome c oxidane allowing oxygen to bind NAHD. THI restores the normal pathway for hydrogen ions to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP) synthase, the primary energy carrier for all living organisms. Essentially, red-light frees up cytochrome c oxcide to allow for eventual production of ATP. By breaking that bond and restoring production of ATP normal cellular metabolism can resume once cells are healthy again you will begin to see results!

Safety

Yes, the bulbs are placed in a tanning bed, but no harmful UV rays are being used nor does the red light tan you. Eye protection is not necessary but is always encouraged. The FDA has stated red light has a non significant risk status and is completely safe for the eyes.
